FAQ

No, absolutely not. While the Coptic Orthodox Church has its roots in Egypt, our community is diverse and welcoming to people of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Whether you are searching for a spiritual home or are simply curious about the ancient Christian faith, you are welcome to join us exactly as you are.

Our services are conducted in both English and Coptic, though they are primarily in English. We use English to ensure our prayers and teachings are accessible to everyone in our local community, while incorporating Coptic to honor our ancient liturgical heritage.

We invite you to join us for our regular weekly services:

  • The Divine Liturgy: 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM

  • The Pasture: 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM

  • Vespers: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Midnight Praises: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

In accordance with ancient Orthodox tradition, Holy Communion (the Eucharist) is reserved for baptized members of the Coptic Orthodox Church (or those of sister Oriental Orthodox churches) who have prepared themselves through confession and fasting.

However, we invite all visitors to join us in prayer and to receive the Korban (blessed bread) distributed at the end of the Divine Liturgy as a sign of fellowship and welcome.
